Roulette is played all over the world. European and American versions of playing roulette are a little different. In European roulette there are 36 numbers and one zero on the wheel and in the American roulette there are 36 numbers and two zeroes.
Let’s discuss some of the do’s and don’t s of playing roulette:
Don’t worry about chips: You just don’t have to be cautious about chips given by the dealer. Because in a casino, roulette chips are different from the other table games. And each player gets a certain chip color. So it can’t be mixed with others. The chips are valuable only at the roulette tables.
Have Patience: Roulette is a slow game by nature. Roulette rules make this game slow. If you want a fast paced game, then this is not for you. So have patience and keep pace with the game.
Share Bets: Never get too concerned about the bets. You place your bet and if you see that someone has already taken the bet, then don’t worry. You and the other player will share the bet with same color chips.
Take time to place bet: There is lot of time to place your bet. You can set your bet even after the wheel starts spinning. But while playing roulette carefully notice when the dealer raises his hand over the table. Because after raising hand he will shout ‘no more bets’. After that you can’t place bets. So place bets before he raises his hand.
Chip value: Give the dealer an indication what value of chips you want. Each roulette table has a certain minimum value. You have to select your average bet value. And then ask the dealer for chips.
